I shall add my feeble musings to the already deafening chorus of sewing bloggers. They're a tough act to follow and I certainly have no pretty photography skills to illustrate with, but I hope you'll find something useful here.
I've been sewing since my mum helped me to make my first prom dress in 1999, it cost me £30. I have a pretty basic Janome sewing machine and a Babylock overlocker. I also love my iron even though it leaks. I always need to tidy my sewing room, and I never have the thread colour I need at the exact time I need it. I keep a supply of plasters next to the sewing machine, and my hoover eats my dressmaking pins.
