The pattern has been fully tested by some lovely people on Ravelry to whom I owe a debt of gratitude.

New vest/bodysuit extenders

There be fun new vest extender packs in the shop: hoorah!  (If you come upon this post later and the shop seems to be sold out, send me an e-mail and tell me to get on with it.  There will be another set in a different cute fabric within another week or so.

Outside putting poppers in extenders, I have been mostly knitting in yellow wool and sewing a toddler shirt.  I guess I'll post about that when it's done.

In other news, only 500 page views to go before this blog becomes more widely read than my other blog which details solutions to various dull linux/fortran related computing problems.  You clearly have odd taste, Mr Internets.

Vest/bodysuit extenders

Vest extenders in the shop seem to be selling well enough that I'm excited to have ordered stuff for three new sets in excitingly different prints!  For now, there are still just whales and birdhouses in the shop, but soon they'll have new animal friends.

You get three extenders in a pack, all made of cozy pretty flannel with 9mm poppers/snaps that fit most bodysuits/vests from UK highstreet stores.  Useful for doing up vests over cloth nappies, or if you've got a long baby.  No more vests that are too big at the shoulders in order to do up underneath: problem solved.

Grab them in the shop.  If you come upon this post later and the shop seems to be lacking, send me an e-mail and tell me to get on with it!  ;-)

Vest extenders

The shop is now open!  Although presently there is only one item, I hope that soon there will be many more.

I'm listing a set of 3 baby vest/bodysuit extenders.  These solve a little problem with cloth nappies where modern vests or bodysuits won't popper up between baby's legs as they're designed for disposable-nappy wearing babbas.

Problem...

...solved!

If you're looking to purchase vest extenders in pretty fabric and they're no longer in the shop, just drop me a line and ask me to make more.  I'm sure we can sort something out!

Finally, a shout out to my favourite nappies: Tots Bots!  We don't have leaks in this house.
